HomeMy Public PortalAbout15062 Jennings Station Road-North Baden Basin (11142)ORDINANCE NO. 15062 AN ORDINANCE, authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to convey a portion of certain real property of the District being part of the Jennings Station Road/North Baden Basin (11142) located on the south side of Jennings Station Road within the Cities of Flordell Hills and Jennings, Missouri to St. Louis County, Missouri for the expansion of the existing sidewalk and to execute and deliver a General Warranty Deed and such other instruments as may be necessary to effect the conveyances. WHEREAS, St. Louis County, Missouri requires the portion of said real property for the expansion of the existing sidewalk; and WHEREAS, the conveyance of the portion of said real property will not interfere with the operation of the storage basin, and WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution 2016, adopted September 18, 1991, the District is authorized to make the aforesaid conveyances through negotiation to another public agency such as St. Louis County, Missouri; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to convey a portion of certain real property of the District being part of the Jennings Station Road/North Baden Basin (11142) within the Cities of Flordell Hills and Jennings, Missouri to St. Louis County, Missouri for the expansion of the existing sidewalk. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized to on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to execute and deliver a General Warranty Deed and such other instruments as may be necessary to effect the aforesaid conveyances to St. Louis County, Missouri, said Deed and instruments to be comprised of such terms and conditions as are approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District. The foregoing ordinance was adopted on December 13, 2018.
