AN ORDINANCE, making a supplemental appropriation of Seventy-Five
Thousand Dollars ($75,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for general
geotechnical services in General Services Agreement – Geotechnical (2018) Contract C (12390)
in Various Locations within the District; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Amendment No. 1
to Contract No. 21618 with Gonzalez Companies, LLC for the aforesaid general geotechnical
services.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 14817, adopted November 9, 2017, appropriated the
initial funding for and authorized Contract No. 21618; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Seventy-Five Thousand Dollars ($75,000.00) is hereby
appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for general geotechnical services in General
Services Agreement – Geotechnical (2018) Contract C (12390) in Various Locations within the
District; said contract being comprised of such terms and conditions as have been approved by
the Office of the General Counsel of the District.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Amendment No.
1 to Contract No. 21618 with Gonzalez Companies, LLC, for general geotechnical services in
General Services Agreement – Geotechnical (2018) Contract C (12390) in Various Locations
within the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing ordinance was adopted on December 13, 2018.
