HomeMy Public PortalAbout15086 Summerhaven Drive #11656 Storm Sewer (11395)ORDINANCE NO. 15086 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Two Hundred Thousand Dollars ($200,000.00) from the Districtwide Stormwater Fund to be used for storm sewer construction in Summerhaven Drive #11656 Storm Sewer (11395) in Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 21730 with Above and Below Contracting, LLC for the aforesaid storm sewer construction. WHEREAS, the bid for said storm sewer construction is One Hundred Sixty-Four Thousand Four Hundred Fifty Dollars ($164,450.00) and the allowance for construction change orders and other project expenses is Thirty-Five Thousand Five Hundred Fifty Dollars ($35,550.00); and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Two Hundred Thousand Dollars ($200,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Districtwide Stormwater Fund for storm sewer construction in Summerhaven Drive #11656 Storm Sewer (11395) in Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri; said contract being comprised of such terms and conditions as have been approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 21730 with Above and Below Contracting, LLC, as the lowest responsible bidder for storm sewer construction in Summerhaven Drive #11656 Storm Sewer (11395) in Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri, pursuant to bids received on the 24th day of October, 2018. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. This foregoing Ordinance was adopted on January 10, 2019.
