HomeMy Public PortalAbout15087 Holden and Longwood Storm Sewer (11266)ORDINANCE NO. 15087 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Hundred Forty-Five Thousand Dollars ($145,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance, Construction, Improvement Fund of Loretta Joplin to be used for storm sewer construction in Holden and Longwood Storm Sewer (11266) in Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 21736 with Above and Below Contracting, LLC for the aforesaid storm sewer construction. WHEREAS, the bid for said storm sewer construction is One Hundred Eight Thousand Three Hundred Eighty-Nine Dollars ($108,389.00) and the allowance for construction change orders and other project expenses is Thirty-Six Thousand Six Hundred Eleven Dollars ($36,611.00); and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of One Hundred Forty-Five Thousand Dollars ($145,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance, Construction, Improvement Fund of Loretta Joplin for storm sewer construction in Holden and Longwood Storm Sewer (11266) in Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri; said contract being comprised of such terms and conditions as have been approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 21736 with Above and Below Contracting, LLC, as the lowest responsible bidder for storm sewer construction in Holden and Longwood Storm Sewer (11266) in Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri, pursuant to bids received on the 1st day of November, 2018. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. This foregoing Ordinance was adopted on January 10, 2019.
