HomeMy Public PortalAbout15103 Lemay Public II Reduction (2019) Contract D (12038)ORDINANCE NO. 15103 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Two Million Seven Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($2,750,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for sanitary sewer rehabilitation in Lemay Public I/I Reduction (2019) Contract D (12038) in the City of Green Park and Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 21714 with Insituform Technologies USA, LLC for the aforesaid sanitary sewer rehabilitation. WHEREAS, the bid for said sanitary sewer rehabilitation is Two Million Six Hundred Fifty-Four Thousand Four Hundred Eleven and 12/100 Dollars ($2,654,411.12) and the allowance for construction change orders and other project expenses is Ninety-Five Thousand Five Hundred Eighty-Eight and 88/100 Dollars ($95,588.88); and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Two Million Seven Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($2,750,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for sanitary sewer rehabilitation in Lemay Public I/I Reduction (2019) Contract D (12038) in the City of Green Park and Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri; said contract being comprised of such terms and conditions as have been approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 21714 with Insituform Technologies USA, LLC, as the lowest responsible bidder for sanitary sewer rehabilitation in Lemay Public I/I Reduction (2019) Contract D (12038) in the City of Green Park and Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri, pursuant to bids received on the 5th day of December, 2018. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted on February 14, 2019.
