HomeMy Public PortalAbout15105 Schaeffer Place 2000 Block Storm Sewer (11621)ORDINANCE NO. 15105 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Hundred Seventy-Four Thousand Dollars ($174,000.00) from the Districtwide Stormwater Fund to be used for combined sewer construction in Schaeffer Place 2000 Block Storm Sewer (11621) in the City of St. Louis, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 21747 with Taylormade Construction Co., LLC for the aforesaid combined sewer construction. WHEREAS, the bid for said combined sewer construction is One Hundred Thirty- Nine Thousand Seven Hundred Twenty-Five Dollars ($139,725.00) and the allowance for construction change orders and other project expenses is Thirty-Four Thousand Two Hundred Seventy-Five Dollars ($34,275.00); and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of One Hundred Seventy-Four Thousand Dollars ($174,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Districtwide Stormwater Fund for combined sewer construction in Schaeffer Place 2000 Block Storm Sewer (11621) in the City of St. Louis, Missouri; said contract being comprised of such terms and conditions as have been approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 21747 with Taylormade Construction Co., LLC, as the lowest responsible bidder for combined sewer construction in Schaeffer Place 2000 Block Storm Sewer (11621) in the City of St. Louis, Missouri, pursuant to bids received on the 14th day of December, 2018. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted on February 14, 2019.
