AN ORDINANCE, authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer
on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with StandPoint,
whereby StandPoint will provide public outreach, engagement, and communication services for
the District.
WHEREAS, the District staff on behalf of the Board of Trustees has received and
evaluated written proposals from firms to provide public engagement services for the District
and conducted oral interviews with selected firms; and
WHEREAS, based on the Request for Proposal process, the staff has
recommended the selection of StandPoint.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with
StandPoint, whereby StandPoint will provide public outreach, engagement, and communication
services for the District.
Section Two. The contract authorized in Section One of this ordinance shall
provide for an initial term of one (1) year with three (3) one-year renewal options, and shall be
comprised of such other terms and conditions as are approved by the Office of the General
Counsel of the District. Accordingly, this ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its
enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted on January 10, 2019.
