Home My Public Portal About15117 Green Park and Lakeshire II Reduction (Tesson Ferry Rd and Green Park Rd) (12372)ORDINANCE NO. 15117 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Three Hundred Eighty Thousand Dollars ($380,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for private I/I removal and storm sewer construction in Green Park and Lakeshire I/I Reduction (Tesson Ferry Rd and Green Park Rd) (12372) in the Cities of Green Park and Lakeshire and Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 21754 with Fred M. Luth & Sons, Inc. for the aforesaid private I/I removal and storm sewer construction. WHEREAS, the bid for said private I/I removal and storm sewer construction is Three Hundred Twenty-One Thousand Four Hundred Twenty-One Dollars ($321,421.00) and the allowance for construction change orders and other project expenses is Fifty-Eight Thousand Five Hundred Seventy-Nine Dollars ($58,579.00); and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Three Hundred Eighty Thousand Dollars ($380,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for private I/I removal and storm sewer construction in Green Park and Lakeshire I/I Reduction (Tesson Ferry Rd and Green Park Rd) (12372) in the Cities of Green Park and Lakeshire and Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri; said contract being comprised of such terms and conditions as have been approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 21754 with Fred M. Luth & Sons, Inc., as the lowest responsible bidder for private I/I removal and storm sewer construction in Green Park and Lakeshire I/I Reduction (Tesson Ferry Rd and Green Park Rd) (12372) in the Cities of Green Park and Lakeshire and Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri, pursuant to bids received on the 10th day of January, 2019. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted on March 14, 2019.
