HomeMy Public PortalAbout15118 Hermitage Sanitary Relief (SKME-615) (10863)ORDINANCE NO. 15118 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Million Eight Hundred Thousand Dollars ($1,800,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for sanitary sewer construction in Hermitage Sanitary Relief (SKME-615) (10863) in the City of Frontenac, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 21759 with Unnerstall Contracting Co., LLC for the aforesaid sanitary sewer construction. WHEREAS, the bid for said sanitary sewer construction is One Million Six Hundred Six Thousand Four Hundred Fifty-One and 80/100 Dollars ($1,606,451.80) and the allowance for construction change orders and other project expenses is One Hundred Ninety- Three Thousand Five Hundred Forty-Eight and 20/100 Dollars ($193,548.20); and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of One Million Eight Hundred Thousand Dollars ($1,800,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for sanitary sewer construction in Hermitage Sanitary Relief (SKME-615) (10863) in the City of Frontenac, Missouri; said contract being comprised of such terms and conditions as have been approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 21759 with Unnerstall Contracting Co., LLC, as the lowest responsible bidder for sanitary sewer construction in Hermitage Sanitary Relief (SKME-615) (10863) in the City of Frontenac, Missouri, pursuant to bids received on the 23rd day of January, 2019. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted on March 14, 2019.
