HomeMy Public PortalAbout15122 Winchester Drive 7120 Bank Stabilization (11026)ORDINANCE NO. 15122 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Hundred Ninety Thousand Dollars ($190,000.00) from the Districtwide Stormwater Fund to be used for channel stabilization in Winchester Drive 7120 Bank Stabilization (11026) in the City of Northwoods, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 21761 with Ideal Landscape Construction, Inc. for the aforesaid channel stabilization. WHEREAS, the bid for said channel stabilization is One Hundred Fifty-Nine Thousand Three Hundred Sixty-Eight Dollars ($159,368.00) and the allowance for construction change orders and other project expenses is Thirty Thousand Six Hundred Thirty-Two Dollars ($30,632.00); and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of One Hundred Ninety Thousand Dollars ($190,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Districtwide Stormwater Fund for channel stabilization in Winchester Drive 7120 Bank Stabilization (11026) in the City of Northwoods, Missouri; said contract being comprised of such terms and conditions as have been approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 21761 with Ideal Landscape Construction, Inc., as the lowest responsible bidder for channel stabilization in Winchester Drive 7120 Bank Stabilization (11026) in the City of Northwoods, Missouri, pursuant to bids received on the 24th day of January, 2019. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted on March 14, 2019.
