HomeMy Public PortalAbout15147 City Lakes Storage Modifications for CSO Control (12794)ORDINANCE NO. 15147 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Five Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($550,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for combined sewer construction in City Lakes Storage Modifications for CSO Control (12794) in the City of St. Louis, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 21778 with L. Keeley Construction Company for the aforesaid combined sewer construction. WHEREAS, the bid for said combined sewer construction is Four Hundred Ninety-Four Thousand Three Hundred Dollars ($494,300.00) and the allowance for construction change orders and other project expenses is Fifty-Five Thousand Seven Hundred Dollars ($55,700.00); and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Five Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($550,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for combined sewer construction in City Lakes Storage Modifications for CSO Control (12794) in the City of St. Louis, Missouri; said contract being comprised of such terms and conditions as have been approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 21778 with L. Keeley Construction Company, as the lowest responsible bidder for combined sewer construction in City Lakes Storage Modifications for CSO Control (12794) in the City of St. Louis, Missouri, pursuant to bids received on the 21st day of March, 2019. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. This foregoing Ordinance was adopted on May 9, 2019.
