AN ORDINANCE, making a supplemental appropriation of One Hundred
Thousand Dollars ($100,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance, Construction, Improvement
Fund of Deer Creek to be used for cost sharing for green infrastructure construction in Deer
Creek Watershed Initiative (11065) in various locations in the Deer Creek Watershed; and
authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan
St. Louis Sewer District to enter into an agreement with The Missouri Botanical Garden for the
aforesaid cost sharing for green infrastructure construction.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 13397, adopted June 14, 2012, appropriated the
initial funding for and authorized Contract No. 11006; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000.00) is
hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance, Construction, Improvement Fund of Deer
Creek for cost sharing for green infrastructure construction in Deer Creek Watershed Initiative
(11065) in various locations in the Deer Creek Watershed.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into an agreement
with The Missouri Botanical Garden for cost sharing for green infrastructure construction in
Deer Creek Watershed Initiative (11065) in various locations in the Deer Creek Watershed, and
shall be comprised of such other terms and conditions as are approved by the Office of the
General Counsel of the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
This foregoing Ordinance was adopted on June 13, 2019.
