Bank Stabilization 11569ORDINANCE NO. 15159 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Eight Hundred Thousand Dollars ($800,000.00) from the District-wide Stormwater Fund to be used for channel stabilization in Harvest Hill Ct. Bank Stabilization (11569) in the City of Ballwin, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 21791 with Ideal Landscape Construction, Inc. for the aforesaid channel stabilization. WHEREAS, the bid for said channel stabilization is Seven Hundred Twenty- Eight Thousand Five Hundred Fifty-Five Dollars ($728,555.00) and the allowance for construction change orders and other project expenses is Seventy-One Thousand Four Hundred Forty-Five Dollars ($71,445.00); and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Eight Hundred Thousand Dollars ($800,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the District-wide Stormwater Fund for channel stabilization in Harvest Hill Ct. Bank Stabilization (11569) in the City of Ballwin, Missouri; said contract being comprised of such terms and conditions as have been approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 21791 with Ideal Landscape Construction, Inc., as the lowest responsible bidder for channel stabilization in Harvest Hill Ct. Bank Stabilization (11569) in the City of Ballwin, Missouri, pursuant to bids received on the 17th day of April, 2019. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. This foregoing Ordinance was adopted on June 13, 2019.
