HomeMy Public PortalAbout15162 Meaux Mart Gray Storm Channel 11171ORDINANCE NO. 15162 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Five Hundred Sixty Thousand Dollars ($560,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance, Construction, Improvement Fund of Deer Creek to be used for channel stabilization in Meaux Mart – Gray Storm Channel (11171) in the City of Des Peres, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 21789 with Ideal Landscape Construction, Inc. for the aforesaid channel stabilization. WHEREAS, the bid for said channel stabilization is Five Hundred Eighteen Thousand Three Hundred Fifty-Nine Dollars ($518,359.00) and the allowance for construction change orders and other project expenses is Forty-One Thousand Six Hundred Forty-One Dollars ($41,641.00); and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Five Hundred Sixty Thousand Dollars ($560,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance, Construction, Improvement Fund of Deer Creek for channel stabilization in Meaux Mart – Gray Storm Channel (11171) in the City of Des Peres, Missouri; said contract being comprised of such terms and conditions as have been approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 21789 with Ideal Landscape Construction, Inc., as the lowest responsible bidder for channel stabilization in Meaux Mart – Gray Storm Channel (11171) in the City of Des Peres, Missouri, pursuant to bids received on the 16th day of April, 2019. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. This foregoing Ordinance was adopted on June 13, 2019.
