AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Seven Hundred Thousand Dollars
($700,000.00) from the Districtwide Stormwater Fund for cost-sharing for storm sewer
construction in Brookvale Terrace – Parkfield Terrace Storm Improvements (11600) in the City
of Manchester, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on
behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into an intergovernmental agreement
under Contract No. 21818 with the City of Manchester, Missouri to provide financial assistance
for storm sewer construction.
WHEREAS, The Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Seven Hundred Thousand Dollars ($700,000.00) is
hereby appropriated from the Districtwide Stormwater Fund for cost-sharing for storm sewer
construction in Brookvale Terrace – Parkfield Terrace Storm Improvements (11600) in the City
of Manchester, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into an
intergovernmental agreement under Contract No. 21818 with the City of Manchester, Missouri to
provide financial assistance for cost-sharing for storm sewer construction in Brookvale Terrace –
Parkfield Terrace Storm Improvements (11600) in the City of Manchester, Missouri.
Section Three. The intergovernmental agreement authorized in Section Two of
this ordinance shall be comprised of such terms and conditions as have been approved by the
Office of the General Counsel of the District.
Section Four. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
This foregoing Ordinance was adopted on August 8, 2019.
