HomeMy Public PortalAbout15274 Guenevere Dr ΓÇô Barham Down Storm Improvements (11030)ORDINANCE NO. 15274 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Three Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($350,000.00) from the Districtwide Stormwater Fund to be used for storm sewer construction in Guenevere Dr – Barham Down Storm Improvements (11030) in the City of Ballwin, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 21830 with Kelpe Contracting, Inc. for the aforesaid storm sewer construction. WHEREAS, the bid for said storm sewer construction is Three Hundred Three Thousand Three Hundred Ninety-Four Dollars ($303,394.00) and the allowance for construction change orders and other project expenses is Forty-Six Thousand Six Hundred Six Dollars ($46,606.00); and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Three Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($350,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Districtwide Stormwater Fund for storm sewer construction in Guenevere Dr – Barham Down Storm Improvements (11030) in the City of Ballwin, Missouri; said contract being comprised of such terms and conditions as have been approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 21830 with Kelpe Contracting, Inc., as the lowest responsible bidder for storm sewer construction in Guenevere Dr – Barham Down Storm Improvements (11030) in the City of Ballwin, Missouri, pursuant to bids received on the 6th day of August, 2019. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted on October 10, 2019.
