AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Four Hundred Thousand Dollars ($400,000.00)
from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for construction management services in Lower
Meramec WWTF Expansion Phase II (Construction Management) (12255) in Unincorporated
St. Louis County, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on
behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 21842 with KAI
360 Construction Services, LLC for construction management services.
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Four Hundred Thousand Dollars ($400,000.00) is
hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for construction
management services in Lower Meramec WWTF Expansion Phase II (Construction
Management) (12255) in Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract
No. 21842 with KAI 360 Construction Services, LLC for construction management services in
Lower Meramec WWTF Expansion Phase II (Construction Management) (12255) in
Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri; and said contract shall be comprised of such other
terms and conditions as are approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
This foregoing Ordinance was adopted on October 10, 2019.
