HomeMy Public PortalAbout15296 Steeplechase Storm Sewer Improvements (Frontenac 3-3) (11239)ORDINANCE NO. 15296 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Two Hundred Fifteen Thousand Dollars ($215,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance, Construction, Improvement Fund of Deer Creek for cost-sharing for storm sewer construction in Steeplechase Storm Sewer Improvements (Frontenac 3-3) (11239) in the City of Frontenac, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into an intergovernmental agreement under Contract No. 21850 with the City of Frontenac, Missouri to provide financial assistance for storm sewer construction. WHEREAS, The Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Two Hundred Fifteen Thousand Dollars ($215,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance, Construction, Improvement Fund of Deer Creek for cost-sharing for storm sewer construction in Steeplechase Storm Sewer Improvements (Frontenac 3-3) (11239) in the City of Frontenac, Missouri. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into an intergovernmental agreement under Contract No. 21850 with the City of Frontenac, Missouri to provide financial assistance for cost-sharing for storm sewer construction in Steeplechase Storm Sewer Improvements (Frontenac 3-3) (11239) in the City of Frontenac, Missouri. Section Three. The intergovernmental agreement authorized in Section Two of this ordinance shall be comprised of such terms and conditions as have been approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District. Section Four. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted on November 14, 2019.
