AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Eighty-Five Thousand Dollars ($85,000.00)
from the Districtwide Stormwater Fund to be used for general geotechnical services in General
Services Agreement – Geotechnical (2020) Contract C (12393) in Various Locations within the
District; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 21853 with Reitz & Jens Inc. for
the aforesaid general geotechnical services.
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Eighty-Five Thousand Dollars ($85,000.00) is hereby
appropriated from the Districtwide Stormwater Fund for general geotechnical services in General
Services Agreement – Geotechnical (2020) Contract C (12393) in Various Locations within the
District; said contract being comprised of such terms and conditions as have been approved by
the Office of the General Counsel of the District.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No.
21853 with Reitz & Jens Inc., for general geotechnical services in General Services Agreement –
Geotechnical (2020) Contract C (12393) in Various Locations within the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted on December 12, 2019.
