HomeMy Public PortalAbout15308 Pump Station Repair and Improvement Design (Contract A) (12697)ORDINANCE NO. 15308 AN ORDINANCE, making a supplemental appropriation of Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for design in Pump Station Repair and Improvement Design (Contract A) (12697) in the Cities of Chesterfield, Hazelwood, and Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Amendment No. 2 to Contract No. 21473 with Horner & Shifrin, Inc. for design. WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 14792, adopted October 12, 2017, appropriated the initial funding for and authorized Contract No. 21473; and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for design in Pump Station Repair and Improvement Design (Contract A) (12697) in the Cities of Chesterfield, Hazelwood, and Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Amendment No. 2 to Contract No. 21473 with Horner & Shifrin, Inc. for design in Pump Station Repair and Improvement Design (Contract A) (12697) in the Cities of Chesterfield, Hazelwood, and Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri; and said contract shall be comprised of such other terms and conditions as are approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted on November 14, 2019.
