AN ORDINANCE, making a supplemental appropriation of One Million Five
Hundred Thousand Dollars ($1,500,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund and One
Million Five Hundred Thousand Dollars ($1,500,000.00) from the General Fund to be used for
repair and replacement of manholes, sewers, and other infrastructure in Infrastructure Repairs
(Wastewater) (2020) (12010) in various locations throughout the District; and authorizing the
Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District to appropriate funds for small infrastructure repair projects to be bid through purchasing
for repair and replacement of manholes, sewers, and other infrastructure.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 15211, adopted August 8, 2019, appropriated the
initial funding for and authorized Infrastructure Repairs (Wastewater) (2020) (12010); and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Million Five Hundred Thousand Dollars
($1,500,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund and the sum of One
Million Five Hundred Thousand Dollars ($1,500,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the
General Fund to be used for repair and replacement of manholes, sewers, and other infrastructure
in Infrastructure Repairs (Wastewater) (2020) (12010) in various locations throughout the
District; said contract being comprised of such terms and conditions as have been approved by
the Office of the General Counsel of the District.
Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinances was adopted on December 12, 2019.
