HomeMy Public PortalAbout15321 South County Sanitary Relief (P-419 to Cripple Creek Dr) (12205)ORDINANCE NO. 15321 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Four Million Six Hundred Thousand Dollars ($4,600,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for sanitary sewer construction in South County Sanitary Relief (P -419 to Cripple Creek Dr) (12205) in Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 21849 with Kolb Grading, LLC for the aforesaid sanitary sewer construction. WHEREAS, the bid for said sanitary sewer construction is Four Million Two Hundred Thousand Dollars ($4,200,000.00) and the allowance for construction change orders and other project expenses is Four Hundred Thousand Dollars ($400,000.00); and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above -named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Four Million Six Hundred Thousand Dollars ($4,600,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for sanitary sewer construction in South County Sanitary Relief (P -419 to Cripple Creek Dr) (12205) in Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri; said contract being comprised of such terms and conditions as have been approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 21849 with Kolb Grading, LLC, as the lowest responsible bidder for sanitary sewer construction in South County Sanitary Relief (P -419 to Cripple Creek Dr) (12205) in Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri, pursuant to bids received on the 22nd day of October , 2019. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The fore going Ordinance was adopted on January 9, 2020.
