AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Five Hundred Sixty Thousand Dollars
($560,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for sanitary sewer construction in
Tilles Park, Litzsinger and Parkridge I/I Reduction (Litzsinger Rd and S McKnight Rd) (12230)
in the Cities of Brentwood and Ladue , Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and
Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract
No. 21863 with Pace Construction Company LLC for the aforesaid sanitary sewer construction.
WHEREAS, the bid for said sanitary sewer construction is Four Hundred Eighty-
Six Thousand Three Hundred Fifty-Seven and 50/100 Dollars ($486,357.50) and the allowance
for construction change orders and other project expenses is Seventy-Three Thousand Six
Hundred Forty-Two and 50/100 Dollars ($73,642.50); and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above -named fund suffic ient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Five Hundred Sixty Thousand Dollars ($560,000.00) is
hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for sanitary sewer construction in
Tilles Park, Litzsinger and Parkridge I/I Reduction (Litzsinger Rd and S McKnight Rd) (12230)
in the Cities of Brentwood and Ladue , Missouri; said contract being comprised of such terms and
conditions as have been approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract
No. 21863 with Pace Construction Company LLC , as the lowest responsible bidder for sanitary
sewer construction in Tilles Park, Litzsinger and Parkridge I/I Reduction (Litzsinger Rd and S
McKnight Rd) (12230) in the Cities of Brentwood and Ladue , Missouri, pursuant to bids
received on the 15th day of November , 2019.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The fore going Ordinance was adopted on January 9, 2020.
