AN ORDINANCE, making a supplemental appropriation of Five Million Two
Hundred Thousand Dollars ($5,200,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for
construction management services in Construction Management Services – Lower Meramec and
Deer Creek Tunnels (11826) in Various Locations w ithin the District ; and authorizing the
Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District to amend Contract No. 20099 with Black & Veatch Corporation for the aforesaid
construction management services.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 13750, adopted December 12, 2013, appropriated the
initial funding for and authorized Contract No. 20099; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above -named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Five Millio n Two Hundred Thousand Dollars
($5,200,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for construction
management services in Construction Management Services – Lower Meramec and Deer Creek
Tunnels (11826) in Various Locations within the District .
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to amend Contract No. 20099
with Black & Veatch Corporation, for construction management services in Construction
Management Services – Lower Meramec and Deer Creek Tunnels (11826) in Various Locations
within the District ; said contract being comprised of such terms and conditions as have been
approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The fore going Ordinance was adopted on January 9, 2020.
