HomeMy Public PortalAbout10089 O R D I N A N C E NO. 10089 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Hundred Nineteen Thousand Dollars ($119,000.00) from the Real Property Purchase Fund for the purchase of certain real property in the City of Maryland Heights, Missouri to provide a site for a new pump station as part of FF-09 Fee Fee Creek Sanitary Relief L-51 (89138); and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to purchase said real property. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of One Hundred Nineteen Thousand Dollars ($119,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Real Property Purchase Fund for the purchase of certain real property in the City of Maryland Heights, Missouri to provide a site for a new pump station as part of FF-09 Fee Fee Creek Sanitary Relief L-51 (89138). Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to purchase certain real property in the City of Maryland Heights, Missouri to provide a site for a new pump station as part of FF-09 Fee Fee Creek Sanitary Relief L-51 (89138), for the total purchase price of One Hundred Nineteen Thousand Dollars ($119,000.00), said real property being more particularly described as follows: A tract of land being part of Lot 2 of "Deerwood Commerce Center", a subdivision according to the plat thereof recorded in Plat Book 209, Page 58 of the St. Louis County Records, in U.S. Survey 992, Township 46 North - Range 5 East, St. Louis County, Missouri, and being more particularly described as: Beginning at the Northeast corner of original Lot 2, said point being the intersection of the south line of Creve Coeur Mill Road (as widened) and the west line of Vigus Road (private, 20 feet wide) as shown on plat stated above; thence along the west line of Vigus Road South 10 degrees 49 minutes 59 seconds East 214.65 feet to a point in the north right-of-way line of the St. Louis Southwestern Railroad 100 foot wide. (Chicago Rock Island & Pacific Railroad) 100 foot wide; thence westwardly on said right-of-way line along a curve to the left whose radius point bears South 14 degrees 47 minutes 41 seconds West 1453.42 feet from the last mentioned point, a distance of 399.41 feet to a point on the west line of Lot 2-C; thence leaving the said right-of-way line North 00 degrees 08 minutes 11 seconds West 161.98 feet to a point on the south line of Creve Coeur Mill Road as shown on plat stated above, said point also being the north line of Lot 2-C; thence along the south line of Creve Coeur Mill Road North 89 degrees 51 minutes 39 seconds East 355.29 feet to the point of beginning. Excluding those parcels to St. Louis County recorded in Deed Book 7968 Pages 94 & 98 of the St. Louis County Records, containing 52,766 square feet or 1.21 acres more or less Section Three. Upon the execution and delivery to the District of a General Warranty Deed in proper form conveying title to the above-described real property to The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized to pay to the grantor One Hundred Nineteen Thousand Dollars ($119,000.00) for said real property. Section Four. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted May 8, 1997.
