HomeMy Public PortalAbout10151 O R D I N A N C E NO. 10151 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Two Million One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($2,100,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for the construction of the Grand Glaize Treatment Plant Sludge Process Improvements (96082), in the City of Valley Park, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary- Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with C. Rallo Contracting Co., Inc. for the aforesaid construction. WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of the Sludge Process Improvements is One Million Six Hundred Eighty Thousand Dollars ($1,680,000.00) and the allowance for procurement of equipment and change orders is Four Hundred Twenty Thousand Dollars ($420,000.00). WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Two Million One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($2,100,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for the construction of the Grand Glaize Treatment Plant Sludge Process Improvements (96082), in the City of Valley Park, Missouri. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with C. Rallo Contracting Co., Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for the construction of the Grand Glaize Treatment Plant Sludge Process Improvements (96082), in the City of Valley Park, Missouri, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 3rd day of June, 1997. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted July 10, 1997.
