HomeMy Public PortalAbout10178 O R D I N A N C E NO. 10178 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Three Hundred Thirty Thousand Dollars ($330,000.00) from the Clean Water Capital Improvement Trust Fund to be used for project costs for the construction of the Bissell Point Service Area Overflow Regulation System Miscellaneous Sewer Improvements (BP-015F), (94090F), in the City of St. Louis, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Tarlton Corporation for the construction of the aforesaid contract. WHEREAS, the bid for the rehabilitation of the Miscellaneous Sewer Improvements is Three Hundred Twelve Thousand Dollars ($312,000.00) and the allowance for change orders is Eighteen Thousand Dollars ($18,000.00), and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Three Hundred Thirty Thousand Dollars ($330,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Clean Water Capital Improvement Trust Fund to be used for project costs for the construction of the Bissell Point Service Area Overflow Regulation System Miscellaneous Sewer Improvements (BP-015F), (94090F), in the City of St. Louis, Missouri. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Tarlton Corporation as the lowest responsible bidder for the construction of the Bissell Point Service Area Overflow Regulation System Miscellaneous Sewer Improvements (BP-015F) (94090F), in the City of St. Louis, Missouri, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 8th day of August, 1997. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted September 11, 1997.
