AN ORDINANCE, transferring the remaining fund balance and related future
revenues of the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Mississippi
River to the Improvement Fund, and appropriating Seven Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars
($750,000.00) from the Improvement Fund for the cleaning of sewer inlets within the Bissell
and Lemay River des Peres service areas within the City of St. Louis, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The remaining fund balance and related future revenues of the
Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Mississippi River are hereby
transferred to the Improvement Fund.
Section Two. The sum of Seven Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars
($750,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Improvement Fund for the cleaning of sewer
inlets within the Bissell and Lemay River des Peres service areas within the City of St. Louis,
Missouri.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take
effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted September 11, 1997.
