O R D I N A N C E NO. 10211
AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Six Hundred Thirty-five Thousand Dollars
($635,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of
Coldwater Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of sanitary sewers in St.
Albert Wet Weather Surcharge Relief (95079), in the City of Florissant, Missouri; and
authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St.
Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with JRW Construction, Inc. for the construction of
the aforesaid sanitary sewers.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said sanitary sewers is Five Hundred
Eighty-nine Thousand Five Hundred Fifty-four and 13/100 Dollars ($589,554.13), and the
allowance for construction change orders and other costs is Forty-five Thousand Four Hundred
Forty-five and 87/100 Dollars ($45,445.87), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Six Hundred Thirty-five Thousand Dollars
($635,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction
Improvement Fund of Coldwater Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of
sanitary sewers in St. Albert Wet Weather Surcharge Relief (95079), in the City of Florissant,
Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with
JRW Construction, Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for the construction of sanitary sewers
in St. Albert Wet Weather Surcharge Relief (95079), in the City of Florissant, Missouri,
pursuant to bids received and opened on the 17th day of September, 1997.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take
effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted November 13, 1997.
