HomeMy Public PortalAbout10235 O R D I N A N C E NO. 10235 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Two Hundred Sixty Thousand Dollars ($260,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Deer Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of sanitary sewers in PB-04 Des Peres-Bismark-Euclid Sanitary Relief (90071), in the City of Rock Hill, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Budrovich Excavating Company, Inc. for the construction of the aforesaid sanitary sewers. WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said sanitary sewers is Two Hundred Forty-six Thousand Seven Hundred Thirty-seven Dollars ($246,737.00), and the allowance for construction change orders is Thirteen Thousand Two Hundred Sixty-three Dollars ($13,263.00), and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Two Hundred Sixty Thousand Dollars ($260,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Deer Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of sanitary sewers in PB-04 Des Peres-Bismark-Euclid Sanitary Relief (90071), in the City of Rock Hill, Missouri. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Budrovich Excavating Company, Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for the construction of sanitary sewers in PB-04 Des Peres-Bismark-Euclid Sanitary Relief (90071), in the City of Rock Hill, Missouri, with The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 5th day of November, 1997. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. 3 The foregoing Ordinance was adopted December 15, 1997.
