HomeMy Public PortalAbout10252 O R D I N A N C E NO. 10252 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Eighty Thousand Five Hundred Fifty-four Dollars ($80,554.00) from the General Fund of the District for the implementation and operation of a curbside recycling and information program for residents of a north St. Louis City neighborhood. WHEREAS, the United States Environmental Protection Agency has agreed to contribute a grant of Eighty Thousand Five Hundred Fifty-four Dollars ($80,554.00) for said program, upon the receipt of such funds from said source, said money will be returned to the General Fund of the District, and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Eighty Thousand Five Hundred Fifty-four Dollars ($80,554.00) is hereby appropriated from the General Fund of the District for the implementation and operation of a curbside recycling and information program for residents of a north St. Louis City neighborhood. Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted December 15, 1997.
