HomeMy Public PortalAbout10273 O R D I N A N C E NO. 10273 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Three Hundred Thirty-one Thousand Dollars ($331,000.00) from the Improvement Fund to be used for project costs for the construction of channel bank stabilization in Maline Creek 1000' East of West Florissant (Infrastructure Repair #202) 98038, in the City of Ferguson, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Tarlton Corporation for the aforesaid construction. WHEREAS, the bid for the aforesaid sanitary sewers is Three Hundred Fifteen Thousand Dollars ($315,000.00), and the allowance for construction change orders is Sixteen Thousand Dollars ($16,000.00), and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Three Hundred Thirty-one Thousand Dollars ($331,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Improvement Fund to be used for project costs for the construction of channel bank stabilization in Maline Creek 1000' East of West Florissant (Infrastructure Repair #202) 98038, in the City of Ferguson, Missouri. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Tarlton Corporation as the lowest responsible bidder for the construction of channel bank stabilization in Maline Creek 1000' East of West Florissant (Infrastructure Repair #202) 98038, in the City of Ferguson, Missouri, within The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 24th day of November, 1997. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted January 8, 1998.
