HomeMy Public PortalAbout10274 O R D I N A N C E NO. 10274 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Two Hundred Eighty-five Thousand Dollars ($285,000.00) from the Improvement Fund to be used for project costs for the construction of sanitary sewers in FF-12 Fee Fee Creek Sanitary Relief (89141), in St. Louis County, Missouri,; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Fred M. Luth & Sons, Inc. for the construction of the aforesaid sanitary sewers. WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said sanitary sewers is Two Hundred Sixty-nine Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty-eight and 55/100 Dollars ($269,758.55), and the allowance for construction change orders is Fifteen Thousand Two Hundred Forty-one and 45/100 Dollars ($15,241.45), and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Two Hundred Eighty-five Thousand Dollars ($285,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Improvement Fund to be used for project costs for the construction of sanitary sewers in FF-12 Fee Fee Creek Sanitary Relief (89141), in St. Louis County, Missouri. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Fred M. Luth & Sons, Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for the construction of sanitary sewers in FF-12 Fee Fee Creek Sanitary Relief (89141), in St. Louis County, Missouri, with The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 4th day of December, 1997. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted January 8, 1998.
