HomeMy Public PortalAbout10309 O R D I N A N C E NO. 10309 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Million Three Hundred Thousand Dollars ($1,300,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for the construction of sanitary sewers in Lynn Haven Sanitary Relief Phase II-A (89101A), in the City of Hazelwood, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with JRW Construction, Inc. for the construction of the aforesaid sanitary sewers. WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said sanitary sewers is One Million Two Hundred Four Thousand One Hundred Twenty-two and 99/100 Dollars ($1,204,122.99), and the allowance for construction change orders is Ninety-five Thousand Eight Hundred Seventy-seven and 01/100 Dollars ($95,877.01), and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of One Million Three Hundred Thousand Dollars ($1,300,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for the construction of sanitary sewers in Lynn Haven Sanitary Relief Phase II-A (89101A), in the City of Hazelwood, Missouri. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with JRW Construction, Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for the construction of sanitary sewers in Lynn Haven Sanitary Relief Phase II-A (89101A), in the City of Hazelwood, Missouri, with The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 28th day of January, 1998. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted March 12, 1998.
