O R D I N A N C E NO. 10310
AN ORDINANCE, transferring the remaining fund balance and related future
revenues of the Fee Fee Extension and Improvement Fund to the Sanitary Replacement Fund,
and appropriating Three Million Eight Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($3,850,000.00) from
the Sanitary Replacement Fund for the construction of a sanitary pump station, sewers and
appurtenances in FF-09 Fee Fee Creek Sanitary Relief L-51 (P-718) Phase II (89138B), in
the City of Maryland Heights, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with
KCI Construction Company, Inc. for the aforesaid construction.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said sanitary pump station, sewers
and appurtenances is Three Million Two Hundred Forty-eight Thousand Dollars
($3,248,000.00), and the allowance for construction contingencies, utility relocation, and
equipment purchases is Six Hundred Two Thousand Dollars ($602,000.00), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized
herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The remaining fund balance and related future revenues of the
Fee Fee Extension and Improvement Fund are hereby transferred to the Sanitary Replacement
Fund, and the sum of Three Million Eight Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($3,850,000.00) is
hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for the construction of a sanitary
pump station, sewers and appurtenances in FF-09 Fee Fee Creek Sanitary Relief L-51 (P-
718) Phase II (89138B), in the City of Maryland Heights, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with
KCI Construction Company, Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for the construction of a
sanitary pump station, sewers and appurtenances in FF-09 Fee Fee Creek Sanitary Relief L-
51 (P-718), Phase II (89138B), in the City of Maryland Heights, Missouri, pursuant to bids
received and opened on the 23rd day of January, 1998.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take
effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted March 12, 1998.
