O R D I N A N C E NO. 10311
AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Ninety-nine Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty-
Dollars ($99,750.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to reimburse Summerfield LLC for
the construction of sanitary sewers in the Summerfield Oaks Subdivision, in St. Louis County,
Missouri, in order to eliminate the Pointe South Pump Station; and authorizing the Executive
Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to
enter into a contract with Summerfield LLC for the aforesaid construction.
WHEREAS, Summerfield LLC has undertaken the construction of certain
sanitary sewers in the Summerfield Oaks Subdivision in order to eliminate the Pointe South
Pump Station, and will dedicate said sewers to the District for public ownership and
maintenance, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized
herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Ninety-nine Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty Dollars
($99,750.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to reimburse
Summerfield LLC for the construction of sanitary sewers in the Summerfield Oaks Subdivision,
in St. Louis County, Missouri, in order to eliminate the Pointe South Pump Station.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with
Summerfield LLC whereby Summerfield LLC will construct certain sanitary sewers in the
Summerfield Oaks Subdivision, in St. Louis County, Missouri, in order to eliminate the Pointe
South Pump Station, said contract to be comprised of such terms and conditions as are
approved by the office of the General Counsel of the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take
effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted March 12, 1998.
