HomeMy Public PortalAbout10315 O R D I N A N C E NO. 10315 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Million Eight Hundred Twenty Thousand Dollars ($1,820,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for the construction of the Lemay Service Area ORS Lower River des Peres (L-03H), Rock Creek and Marlo Coil Interceptors (93038H), in the City of St. Louis, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Fred M. Luth & Sons, Inc. for the aforesaid construction. WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of the Rock Creek and Marlo Coil Interceptors is One Million Seven Hundred Seventeen Thousand Eight Hundred Fifty and 15/100 Dollars ($1,717,850.15), and the allowance for construction change orders and tree replacement is One Hundred Two Thousand One Hundred Forty-nine and 85/100 Dollars ($102,149.85), and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of One Million Eight Hundred Twenty Thousand Dollars ($1,820,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for the construction of the Lemay Service Area ORS Lower River des Peres (L- 03H), Rock Creek and Marlo Coil Interceptors (93038H), in the City of St. Louis, Missouri. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Fred M. Luth & Sons, Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for the construction of the Lemay Service Area ORS Lower River des Peres (L-03H) Rock Creek and Marlo Coil Interceptors (93038H), in the City of St. Louis, Missouri, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 26th day of February, 1998. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted April 9, 1998.
