HomeMy Public PortalAbout10341 O R D I N A N C E NO. 10341 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Two Hundred Seventy-five Thousand Dollars ($275,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Coldwater Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of sanitary sewers in Starlet Sanitary Relief (94111), in the City of Florissant, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Budrovich Excavating Company, Inc. for the construction of the aforesaid sanitary sewers. WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said sanitary sewers is Two Hundred Fifty-eight Thousand One Hundred Fifty-nine Dollars ($258,159.00), and the allowance for construction change orders is Sixteen Thousand Eight Hundred Forty-one Dollars ($16,841.00), and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Two Hundred Seventy-five Thousand Dollars ($275,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Coldwater Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of sanitary sewers in Starlet Sanitary Relief (94111), in the City of Florissant, Missouri. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Budrovich Excavating Company, Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for the construction of sanitary sewers in Starlet Sanitary Relief (94111), in the City of Florissant, Missouri, with The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 19th day of March, 1998. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. 3 The foregoing Ordinance was adopted May 7, 1998.
