O R D I N A N C E NO. 10359
AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Eighty-seven Thousand Five Hundred Dollars
($87,500.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of
Fountain Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in Sassafras
Lane Storm Sewer (97033), in the Village of Calverton Park, Missouri; and authorizing the
Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District to enter into a contract with Truss Brothers Construction Company, Inc. for the
construction of the aforesaid storm sewers.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said storm sewers is Eighty-three
Thousand Dollars ($83,000.00), and the allowance for construction change orders is Four
Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($4,500.00), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Eighty-seven Thousand Five Hundred Dollars
($87,500.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction
Improvement Fund of Fountain Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of
storm sewers in Sassafras Lane Storm Sewer (97033), in the Village of Calverton Park,
Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with
Truss Brothers Construction Company, Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for the
construction of storm sewers in Sassafras Lane Storm Sewer (97033), in the Village of
Calverton Park, Missouri, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 16th day of April,
1998.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take
effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted June 11, 1998.
