HomeMy Public PortalAbout10360 O R D I N A N C E NO. 10360 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($150,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Lower Meramec River Basin to be used for project costs for the construction of sanitary sewers in Rott Road WWTP Elimination (97018), in the City of Sunset Hills, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Truss Brothers Construction Company, Inc. for the construction of the aforesaid sanitary sewers. WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said sanitary sewers is One Hundred Forty-one Thousand Seven Hundred Thirty-seven Dollars ($141,737.00), and the allowance for construction change orders is Eight Thousand Two Hundred Sixty-three Dollars ($8,263.00), and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of One Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($150,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Lower Meramec River Basin to be used for project costs for the construction of sanitary sewers in Rott Road WWTP Elimination (97018), in the City of Sunset Hills, Missouri. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Truss Brothers Construction Company, Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for the construction of sanitary sewers in Rott Road WWTP Elimination (97018), in the City of Sunset Hills, Missouri, with The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 22nd day of April, 1998. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted June 11, 1998.
