HomeMy Public PortalAbout10363 O R D I N A N C E NO. 10363 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Four Hundred Thirty-Five Thousand Dollars ($435,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Creve Coeur-Frontenac to be used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in Larkin and Sona Lanes Storm Sewer (90097), in the City of Creve Coeur, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Budrovich Excavating, Inc. for the construction of the aforesaid storm sewers. WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said storm sewers is Four Hundred Twelve Thousand Six Hundred Ninety-Two Dollars ($412,692.00), and the allowance for construction change orders is Twenty-Two Thousand Three Hundred Eight Dollars ($22,308.00), and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Four Hundred Thirty-Five Thousand Dollars ($435,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Creve Coeur-Frontenac to be used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in Larkin and Sona Lanes Storm Sewer (90097), in the City of Creve Coeur, Missouri. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Budrovich Excavating, Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for the construction of storm sewers in Larkin and Sona Lanes Storm Sewer (90097), in the City of Creve Coeur, Missouri, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 1st day of May, 1998. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted June 11, 1998
