O R D I N A N C E NO. 10393
AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Million Eight Hundred Fifty Thousand
Dollars ($1,850,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement
Fund of Coldwater Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of storm and
sanitary sewers in St. Charles Rock Road to Breckenridge Storm Channel and Sanitary Relief
Phase III (96065), in the City of Breckenridge Hills, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive
Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to
enter into a contract with JRW Construction, Inc. for the construction of the aforesaid storm
and sanitary sewers.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said storm and sanitary sewers is
One Million Seven Hundred Forty-six Thousand Three Hundred Forty-eight and 08/100
Dollars ($1,746,348.08), and the allowance for construction change orders is One Hundred
Three Thousand Six Hundred Fifty-one and 92/100 Dollars ($103,651.92), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Million Eight Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars
($1,850,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction
Improvement Fund of Coldwater Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of
storm and sanitary sewers in St. Charles Rock Road to Breckenridge Storm Channel and
Sanitary Relief Phase III (96065), in the City of Breckenridge Hills, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with
JRW Construction, Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for the construction of storm and
sanitary sewers in St. Charles Rock Road to Breckenridge Storm Channel and Sanitary Relief
Phase III (96065), in the City of Breckenridge Hills, Missouri, pursuant to bids received and
opened on the 27th day of May, 1998.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take

effect immediately upon its enactment.
