O R D I N A N C E NO. 10402
AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Million Eight Hundred Forty
Thousand Dollars ($1,840,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for
project costs for the construction of the Lemay Service Area ORS Lemay North (L-10C)
Lining of Sewers with Cured-in-Place Pipe (96056C), in the City of St. Louis, Missouri;
and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Insituform Missouri,
Inc. for the aforesaid construction.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of the Lemay North CIPP Lining
is One Million Seven Hundred Twenty-five Thousand Seventy-one Dollars
($1,725,071.00) and the cost of special insurance and allowance for change orders is
One Hundred Fourteen Thousand Nine Hundred Twenty-nine Dollars ($114,929.00),
and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an
unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation
authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Million Eight Hundred Forty Thousand
Dollars ($1,840,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to
be used for project costs for the construction of the Lemay Service Area ORS Lemay
North (L-10C) Lining of Sewers with Cured-in-Place Pipe (96056C), in the City of St.
Louis, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a
contract with Insituform Missouri, Inc. for the construction of the Lemay Service Area
ORS Lemay North (L-10C) Lining of Sewers with Cured-in-Place Pipe (96056C), in the
City of St. Louis, Missouri, said contract to be comprised of such terms and conditions
as are approved by the office of the General Counsel of the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall
take effect immediately upon its enactment.
