HomeMy Public PortalAbout10423 O R D I N A N C E NO. 10423 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Three Hundred Thousand Dollars ($300,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for the Lemay Service Area ORS Lemay North Procurement of Slide Gates and Actuators (L- 09A, 96055A), in the City of St. Louis, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Rodney Hunt Company for the aforesaid procurement. WHEREAS, the bid for the Procurement of Slide Gates and Actuators is Two Hundred Eighty-seven Thousand Three Hundred Seventy-five Dollars ($287,375.00), and the allowance for change orders is Twelve Thousand Six Hundred Twenty-five Dollars ($12,625.00). WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Three Hundred Thousand Dollars ($300,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for the Lemay Service Area ORS Lemay North Procurement of Slide Gates and Actuators (L-09A, 96055A), in the City of St. Louis, Missouri. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Rodney Hunt Company as the lowest responsible bidder for the project costs for the Lemay Service Area ORS Lemay North Procurement of Slide Gates and Actuators (L-09A, 96055A), in the City of St. Louis, Missouri, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 30th day of July, 1998. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted September 10, 1998 by the following vote – Ayes – C.L. Barnhart, P.P. Finn, C.D. Seward, M.C. Williams, and G. J. Sheffield. Nays – None. Secretary-Treasurer
