HomeMy Public PortalAbout10432 O R D I N A N C E NO. 10432 AN ORDINANCE, authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a
contract with Gershenson Construction Company, Inc. for the construction of sanitary
sewer laterals in Wellston Sanitary House Connections Phase 5 (98083), in the City of
Wellston, Missouri.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 9468, adopted January 12, 1995, authorized
the District's participation in this project with St. Louis County, Missouri, and St.
Louis County, Missouri, pursuant to a United States Department of Housing and
Urban Development Community Development Block Grant under Title I of the
Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, will reimburse the District for the
costs incurred through the contract as herein authorized, and
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 9548, adopted April 20, 1995, appropriated the
funding for the costs incurred through the contract as herein authorized,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a
contract with Gershenson Construction Company, Inc.. as the lowest responsible bidder
for the construction of sanitary sewer laterals in Wellston Sanitary House Connections
Phase 5 (98083), in the City of Wellston, Missouri, within The Metropolitan St. Louis
Sewer District, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 20th day of August, 1998.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted September 10, 1998 by the following vote –
Ayes – C.L. Barnhart, P.P. Finn, C.D. Seward, M.C. Williams, and G. J. Sheffield.
Nays – None.
