AN ORDINANCE, appropriating a total of Two Hundred Seventy
Thousand Dollars ($270,000.00), to be funded as follows: One Hundred Eighty
Thousand Dollars ($180,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction
Improvement Fund of Missouri River Bonfils, and Ninety Thousand Dollars
($90,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of
Lower Meramec River Basin, for engineering services for Phase II of Missouri River
Bonfils Inflow and Infiltration Correction (97040), and King George, Mayfair, and
Windsor Gardens Inflow and Infiltration Correction (98036) Study; and authorizing the
Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis
Sewer District to enter into Amendment No. 1 to Contract E-893 with George Butler
Associates, Inc. for the aforesaid engineering services.
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an
unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation
authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The total sum of Two Hundred Seventy Thousand Dollars
($270,000.00), to be funded as follows: One Hundred Eighty Thousand Dollars
($180,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund
of Missouri River Bonfils, and Ninety Thousand Dollars ($90,000.00) from the
Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Lower Meramec River

Basin, is hereby appropriated for engineering services for Phase II of Missouri River
Bonfils Inflow and Infiltration Correction (97040), and King George, Mayfair, and
Windsor Gardens Inflow and Infiltration Correction (98036) Study.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into
Amendment No. 1 to Contract E-893 with George Butler Associates, Inc. for
engineering services for Phase II of Missouri River Bonfils Inflow and Infiltration
Correction (97040), and King George, Mayfair, and Windsor Gardens Inflow and
Infiltration Correction (98036) Study; said contract to be comprised of such terms and
conditions as are approved by the office of the General Counsel of the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance,
shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted January 14, 1999 by the following vote –
Ayes – C. D. Seward, P.P. Finn, J.W. Siscel, and M.C. Williams.
Nays – None.
Secretary-Treasurer
