HomeMy Public PortalAbout10511 O R D I N A N C E NO. 10511 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Hundred Seventy Thousand Dollars ($170,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for a portion of the costs of construction of a public triplex pump station, force main and associated appurtenances to serve the Corporate Exchange Development (P-21837), and for services required for the abandonment of the District's West Lake Pump Station, in St. Louis County, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with H. W. Development, LLC for the aforesaid construction and services. WHEREAS, the District's West Lake Pump Station has been identified as substandard and in need of replacement, and WHEREAS, H. W. Development, LLC has agreed to undertake the construction of a public triplex pump station, force main and associated appurtenances to serve its Corporate Exchange Development (P-21837), and to perform services required for the abandonment of said West Lake Pump Station, and WHEREAS, since the public interest will be served, the District has agreed to contribute a portion of the costs of the aforesaid construction and services, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of One Hundred Seventy Thousand Dollars ($170,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for a portion of the costs of construction of a public triplex pump station, force main and 2 associated appurtenances to serve the Corporate Exchange Development (P-21837), and for services required for the abandonment of the District's West Lake Pump Station, in St. Louis County, Missouri. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with H. W. Development, LLC whereby the District will contribute to H. W. Development, LLC a portion of the costs of construction of a public triplex pump station, force main and associated appurtenances to serve the Corporate Exchange Development (P-21837), and for services required for the abandonment of the District's West Lake Pump Station, in St. Louis County, Missouri, said contract to be comprised of such terms and conditions as are approved by the office of the General Counsel of the District. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted January 14, 1999 by the following vote – Ayes – C. D. Seward, P.P. Finn, J.W. Siscel, and M.C. Williams. Nays – None. Secretary-Treasurer
