AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Ninety Thousand Dollars ($90,000.00)
from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Wellston to
pay the District's share to the St. Louis County Economic Council for the design and
construction of storm sewers in Etzel Avenue, in the City of Wellston, Missouri in order
to correct deficiencies within the existing storm sewer system.
WHEREAS, the St. Louis County Economic Council has undertaken the
construction of street improvements, including storm sewers, within Etzel Avenue from
Sutter Avenue eastwardly to the city limits of the City of Wellston, and
WHEREAS, the existing storm sewer system along Etzel Avenue is
deficient, and the District has agreed to pay the St. Louis County Economic Council for
a portion of the design and construction of said storm sewers, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an
unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation
authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Ninety Thousand Dollars ($90,000.00) is hereby
appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of
Wellston to pay the District's share to the St. Louis County Economic Council for the
design and construction of storms sewers in Etzel Avenue, in the City of Wellston,
Missouri in order to correct deficiencies within the existing storm sewer system.
Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take
effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted April 15, 1999 by the following vote –
Ayes – C.L. Barnhart, J.W. Siscel, C.D. Seward, P.P. Finn, G.J. Sheffield, and M.C.
Williams.
Nays – None.
