HomeMy Public PortalAbout10558 O R D I N A N C E NO. 10558 AN ORDINANCE, authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary- Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to lease to the Department of Natural Resources of the State of Missouri, approximately ten (10) square feet of the roof space of the District's 2000 Hampton Avenue Administrative Building, in the City of St. Louis, Missouri for the placement and operation of a video camera which will monitor ground level atmospheric conditions in downtown City of St. Louis in the area of the Gateway to the West Memorial Arch, and to execute a lease agreement upon the terms and conditions hereinafter set out. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The Executive Director and the Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District are hereby authorized and directed to lease to the Department of Natural Resources of the State of Missouri upon terms and conditions hereinafter set out, approximately ten (10) square feet of roof space on the District's 2000 Hampton Avenue facility in the City of St. Louis, Missouri for the placement and operation of a video camera which will monitor ground level atmospheric conditions in downtown City of St. Louis in the area of the Gateway to the West Memorial Arch. Section Two. The lease as herein authorized shall be for a term of five (5) years, commencing July 1, 1999 and terminating on June 30, 2004 at a rental of one (1) dollar per year for the term of the lease. Section Three. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District are hereby authorized to execute a lease agreement giving effect to Sections One and Two hereof and embodying such other terms and conditions as approved by the office of the General Counsel of the District. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted May 6, 1999 by the following vote – Ayes – C. L. Barnhart, P.P. Finn, C.D. Seward, M.C. Williams, and J.W. Siscel. Nays- None. Secretary-Treasurer
