AN ORDINANCE, awarding a contract to Kemper Indemnity Company
for the District's Overcharged Sewer Line Backup Insurance coverage from July 1,
1999 to June 30, 2000.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The Kemper Indemnity Company who submitted a quote for
the District's Overcharged Sewer Line Backup Insurance coverage, with an annual
aggregate limit of Ten Million Dollars ($10,000,000.00) which is in excess of the first
Five Million Dollars ($5,000,000.00) of claims, with a Two Thousand Dollar ($2,000.00)
limit per claim and a One Hundred Dollar ($100.00) deductible per claim, at a
premium of Four Hundred Thirty Thousand Dollars ($430,000.00) for such policy
period, is hereby awarded the contract for such insurance coverage from July 1, 1999 to
June 30, 2000.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted June 10, 1999 by the following vote –
Ayes – C.L. Barnhart, G.J. Sheffield, C.D. Seward, P.P. Finn, J.W. Siscel, and M.C.
Williams.
Nays – None.
